An Honest Diet Solution With No Tricks

Virtually every diet I’ve ever studied has one terrible secret: they trick you into weight loss only to allow you to gain it all back. After 20 years of research, I’ve finally found a solution to this diet failure.

Weight loss has always been a large part of my wellness practice; all natural healers are concerned about you keeping your weight in check. Almost all of us try to lose some weight at some point in our lives. sometimes its for our health, sometimes it’s for a wedding or class reunion. Whatever the reason, when you reach your final goal you want the weight loss to be permanent.

Most of these diet plans have some sort of “trick” involved in their program. The food you eat or don’t eat “tricks” the body into short-term weight loss but long-term disappointment. While it is possible to lose weight while eating bacon, sausage, and high-fat meats, it doesn’t lead to a healthy body. You’ll lose weight, you’ll only end up dying thin.

Most diets fail to address the key problem associated with weight gain: over-consumption of high-glycemic carbohydrates which result in the over-working and burning out of our pancreas. Both the pancreas problems and the high consumption of carbohydrates need to be addressed in any weight loss program which leads to reduction of body fat over the long term.

Over the years, as we age, if we have been eating large amounts of calorie-rich nutrient-depleted carbohydrates like high-fructose corn syrup, then, our pancreases will be burned out. They will have been through the cycle of high blood sugar followed by increased output of insulin and spikes in blood level insulin. This causes the blood sugar to drop and then a craving of hunger for more sugar. We then eat more high carb sugars and we spike the sugar in an endless cycle. This leads to increased calorie consumption and increased fat deposition.

With this cycle repeating over the years, the pancreas wears out as it is functioning at a much higher level than designed. An overabundance of insulin leads to resistance in the tissues which cause more insulin and the cycle continues. This insulin resistance is often referred to as “pre-diabetes”; a state none of us desires.

When we return to the natural weight solution, it allows our bodies to self-regulate. Our bodies are designed to self-regulate and repair themselves. We only need to allow this process to happen and not to prevent it. There is always hope. Most everyone can recover from this type of problem and regain their normal body weight.
